As we reach a year since the first rumblings of COVID-19, we are more than a little chuffed to see the release of the book written by our Managing Director, Carolyn Evans. Published by Brill | Nijhoff, based in the Netherlands, the book becomes Volume 61 in their series ‘Legal Aspects of International Organizations‘.
The essential subject matter of the book – governance and accountability – sits at the intersection of Carolyn’s professional experience over more than three decades, and her international law studies since 2009.
Based on Carolyn’s doctoral thesis, the book addresses the why, to whom, for what, and how, of Council accountability – four corners of concerns central to seeing any actor held accountable.
The book is available direct from Brill | Nijhoff or from all the major online bookstores.
PS we all loved the reaction from a former colleague “Wow, you wrote a book during COVID – all I did was get my step count up!” Needless to say that his coffee credit is good here pretty much forever!!
